Students:

There is no doubt that everyone on the GSS staff is committed to the Global Student. Whether you are coming to the US on a student visa, or are a US citizen returning after living elsewhere, we are personally familiar with your experience. We understand the uniqueness of YOUR experience, and do not assume anything about you, or pre-judge you. The fact that you have your own story is what thrills us most.

From our own experience we also know that not everyone understands or appreciates us and what we have to offer. We have walked the path of misunderstanding, and pre-judging, and have learned the skills to not just survive but to THRIVE.

We invite you to permit us to walk with you throughout your college experience to advise you, to listen to you, to offer support when you need it. We will not do anything FOR you, but we are excited to teach you how to do it by yourself.

You are being called upon to represent your family, your country, even the world as a global citizen. Most importantly you have to represent yourself. We are prepared to help you embrace all of these responsibilities with grace and power.
